13 de July de 2023Mechanical engineer, Sandra Ortuzar, has joined ABG Intellectual Property's Euskadi office as a patent advisor to reinforce the services of its Engineering & Physics area in the region. Sandra has more than nine years of experience advising Basque companies on industrial property in the different fields of engineering, such as biomedical devices, different mechanical solutions and industrial processes.
ABG Intellectual Property's Bilbao office opened its doors next to the Estuary on March 1, 2015 and is headed by European Patent Agent, Iain McGeoch.
"We are delighted that Sandra is joining ABG IP, especially as this is a time when Euskadi and Navarra are breaking their records for patent filings with the European Patent Office. Moreover, in the Basque Country, engineering has historically been very important, for example machine tools, and nowadays there is a strong focus on ICTs; Sandra has a great deal of experience in these areas", says Iain.
Sandra Ortuzar is the latest addition to the team of more than 70 professionals that make up ABG IP. Currently, a dozen engineers (including three European Patent Agents) advise companies and public and private entities of all sizes and branches: from aeronautics, mechanics, electricity and electronics to information technology and telecommunications.
