NORGESTION CONSULTS ON 24 TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN M&A AND CAPITAL MARKETS IN 2021, MAINTAINING OVERALL ACTIVITY LEVEL

2021 has been, once again, a unique year in terms of circumstances and uncertainties, although very active in terms of corporate finance. NORGESTION has held strong in activity levels in both M&A, where it successfully closed 17 transactions, and also in Capital Markets (BME Growth and MARF).

In the case of M&A transactions, NORGESTIÓN offers advisory services in all corporate transactions relating to capital or corporate financing and activities aimed at developing the strategic vision of companies. During last year, ADDILAN, LANTEK or HMS were some of the companies involved in these transactions, all of which form part of AFM Cluster.

Moreover, it is notable that 40% of this type of M&A transactions have had an international component (Europe, North America and the Middle East), and a similar percentage involved Private Equity entities, thereby playing a role in the enormous development that this industry is undergoing in Spain. As in recent years, those sectors considered to be “resilient” -those which are holding strong on their growth forecasts-, which include the digitalisation and sustainability sectors, have witnessed and participated in a clearly seller-dominated market with attractive valuations.
